The role holder is responsible to increase retail business, brand awareness, and also responsible for developing strong relationships and building business opportunities for WSEC in the market. The role holder is also responsible for analyzing the financial market, market trends, political and economic indicators to advise on hygienic solutions.
The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.
Core duties and responsibilities:
Process & Operations:
Achieve revenue and number of wise targets for the assigned area/stores.
Acquire new customers from the assigned market and retaining existing customers.
Plan and participate in (Paytime) campsite and store centric conversion activities to drive maximum transactions and identify the new camps to target the same.
Plan pre-awareness activity in each camp before the salary days to enhance the Paytime to remittance conversions
Plan attractive and cost-effective promotions, raffle draws and entertainment activities for each camp and stores to engage and convert the Paytime customers.
Planning and coordinating the retail activities for the assigned stores in consultation with the store’s Team Leader and line manager.
Create relationships tie up in the assigned market for the co-branded promotions, WPS, and GMC.
Meeting potential customers on a regular basis in the surrounding of the assigned store to maintain the relationship.
Organize roadshows and infotainment activity at the strategic locations like camps, major junctions, villas, and gathering places for the assigned stores to enhance the awareness of WSE products & services and the benefits to the customers.
Organize and participate in marketing campaigns, in house campaigns, sports activities, CSR activities, etc. at the assigned areas and measure the effectiveness of the campaigns.
Build strong relationships with the consulate, association, and embassy of the particular corridor to enhance WSE brand awareness in the market.
Generate, build, and maintain the lead database through various marketing activities and ensure the proper follow up for the leads to improve business. Also, share the leads with the stores team for the telemarketing at the store level.
To participate and make use of the maximum in sponsorship events for the brand image of the company.
Cross sell other products like Paytime, allied products etc to the existing clients.
Working closely with other departments like Marketing, Paytime & pricing, etc for the betterment of WSE and to optimize WSE profits.
To support the newly opened store in creating awareness to strengthen the business.
To bear additional responsibility as and when required for the benefit and betterment of the WSE.
Must maintain competitive knowledge. Know their pricing; business techniques; what they do better; what we do better, etc.
Constant and timely communication with the concerned departments regarding the developments in the products and services.
Continually analyze stores result and look for ways to improve.
Have a strong market intelligence on the competitor’s activities and feedback to the management.
Update competition rates, retail sales activities plan, daily marketing activity report, monthly performance report, corridor report to the line manager in the prescribed formats.
Ensure all set targets has to be achieved.
Plan and participate in the cost effective campaigns and events.
Identification of risk and escalate any identified issue through the appropriate channel.
Ensure all the campaigns have to be measured through achievements/ results.
Respond to customer requirements/complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved through daily interactions.
Conducting customer focused activity and analyzing the results. For example, Social Media campaigns, WhatsApp groups, and SMS blast.
Educating the customers about the future developments of the WSE’s activities (For example Upcoming promotions, new stores opening, charges, and rates, etc)
Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to deal with all levels within the business in a multi-cultural environment
Complete understanding of pricing elasticity in cross border funds transfer
Good presentation skills can talk in public confidently and fluidly
Flair for Internal customer service
Strong knowledge of financial institution business
Previous experience in a similar role
Good negotiation skills
Excellent in MS. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills

Excellent numerical & analytical skills
Should have a UAE D/L
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Preferably Business / Marketing / Finance)
If Any, related to Marketing & Sales
1 to 3 Years’ experience in a financial institution focused on retail customers.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English & Hindi
