The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of sales, operation, and strategy in Indonesia. Specific emphasis and of primary importance, is a continual improvement of operational efficiency, customer experience, staff retention, profit optimisation and developing the Mandala brand in Indonesia. Including day-to-day staff management, the General Manager is also an ambassador for the Mandala brand and fully embraces our ethos to deliver an unrivalled customer experience.
As General Manager you are an influential leader and strategic business partner to all departments that tell our story, deliver service, create culture, maximize profits, support operations, and member / guest satisfaction. The General Manager works very closely with internal and external stake holders to ensure optimal experience is a result of unforgettable moments through staff, food, drink, events, and amenities. The General Manager will have full P & L responsibilities and must possess strong operational, financial, and analytical skills.
A successful General Manager will collaboratively partner with the C-Suite of Mandala Group to develop strategic business objectives and goals that result in optimizing the business’s performance and profitability.
KEY OBJECTIVES & DELIVERABLES
Ulu Cliffhouse Operations
Accountable for the end to end running of Ulu Cliffhouse operations, providing strong leadership and direction.
Put in place and monitor short/medium/long-term business goals/KPIs to ensure that overarching strategic goals are met.
With the Mandala Group CFO, put in place annual operating budgets and targets, cost controls and operating efficiencies.
Ensure that the company’s legal responsibilities as they relate to HR, financial reporting, health & safety, food hygiene etc. are widely communicated and diligently met.
Develop and implement best in class operating procedures.
Work with the sales and marketing team to drive revenue growth and develop a pipeline of events.
Raise the profile of Ulu so it is considered the premier beach club in Bali.
With HR, manage the recruitment, training, rostering and development of Indonesian employees.
Periodically review the staffing structure and reporting lines, making sure the staff resource available is assigned where it is needed most, and is effective for the businesses evolving business requirements.
Oversee staff training and implement operational processes across the Indonesian assets. Shape rotas and oversee shift management to deliver service with excellence.
Institute and supervise the company’s performance management protocols, ensuring staff are set clear objectives and targets, are regularly monitored.
eLead the Indonesian team to ensure the food & beverage, marketing & sales and contractor services offer exceptional member/guest service quality and experiences that exceed member and customer expectations in a profitable manner.
Chair regular meetings with all Direct Reports to ensure expectations and priorities are clear.

THE RIGHT EXPERIENCE
10+ years of General Management experience in hospitality and/or property with proven technical and analytical acumen
International hospitality experience
Fluent English speaker
