Where you fit in?
Within Trading & Supply (T&S), CP team is responsible for Procurement of all logistics services for Shell – Mobility business, which includes bulk fuels transportation, Third party Terminalling and storage and Engineering spend categories.
Procurement Manager is an important frontline role being responsible for leading and managing all CP activities for – T&S (Products and Operations) in India.
Given High Risk external environment, you are expected to be a compliance leader by demonstrating razor sharp focus on ensuring required compliance adherence from all 3rd party business partners towards HSSE (safety) and E&C (Ethics and Compliance) standards – while ensuring that all other required due diligence are carried out for all the spend. you could also be supporting exciting new business entries into India through our Shell Chemicals and Shell Energy divisions-.
What’s the role?
As a key frontline leader of India T&S CP organization you will lead, contribute, collaborate, and deliver end to end CP activities in accordance with World Class Contracting & Procurement Policies, – experience around Strategy & Business Development, Deal making and negotiations and with Project Management skills for scope listed above. All of this is done in complex environment in a safe, compliant, agile and in cost-efficient manner.
You play a pivotal role to minimize risks & costs and expected to extract maximum value from both, the contract and the relationship you will manage with business partners in India.

You also have an opportunity to lead from front, conversations with strategic partners in Indian Supply Chain and Logistics Industry.

What we need from you?
We are keen to speak to you and our expectation is to see the below on your CV:
Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering preferred), MBA would be an advantage, MCIPS qualification is desired but not must and- minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in Supply Chain / E2E procurement / Logistics / Commercial delivery.
Proven track record / commercial experience in deal making, negotiation and contracting.
Strong project management experience involving large number of key stakeholders.
Exposure to developing and managing suppliers/business partners, delivering results, complex high-risk projects, execution excellence, strong sourcing capability, managing change and strong customer focus by bringing forth necessary commercial curiosity, innovative approach to CP activities through a process of constructive challenge and support.
Ability of maintaining and managing great relationship with business; Ability to identify risks and finding creative solutions thereto within acceptable process, compliance and risk frameworks.
Strong business acumen including analytics skills, market surveys, benchmarking to analyse complex cost models and data. Basic understanding in finance will help to spot new value opportunities
Knowledge on how to manage e2e procurement in ERP (SAP) / SAP Ariba is an added advantage.
