Responsible for conducting basic analysis in support of the risk management effort.
Monitor, report and escalate breaches in credit limits which are in place on all material sources of risk for FAB Oman.
Support the Manager / Asst Manager Credit risk in performing quarterly review of credit loans i.e. Loan review Mechanism (LRM) as required by CBO
Preparation of periodic credit related reports to Head office
Prepare CBO reports related to loans and advances and provisioning.
Preparation of other credit related MIS reports as per agreed formats as per agreed SLA & SOP’s
Support Head of Risk in preparation of Branch Risk management committee report related to credit portfolio review.
Ensure periodic reconciliation of GL accounts assigned to credit Risk and timely submission of declaration for the same.
To analyse and assess provision adequacy, quarterly analysis of vulnerable portfolio and provision coverage, analysis of movements in vulnerable portfolio, NPLs and Specific Provision.
Overall NPL and Provision verification and reconciliation with Finance for quarterly FS disclosures.
Control of Provision and Interest in Suspense movement, review of the monthly recoveries and advise the business units for actions.
Reconciliation of monthly balances of all domestic branches impaired loans /interest in suspense/provisions with the statement of condition received branch wise.
Ensure all Audit / Regulator issues highlighted in audit / examination reports are addressed appropriately as per agreed timelines.
Ensure NIL High Risk observation in Internal Audit / CBO examination.
Responsible for filing and record keeping of Credit Risk reports.
Additional to above, must execute any tasks as assigned by Head of RMD Oman on need basis
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Diploma/degree in Banking and Finance or related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Banking .
Experience in Management of loans related MIS and CBO reporting preffered.
Ability to spot, understand and solve issues, develop and recommend alternatives or solutions.
Ability to escalate in an adequate manner.
Good interpersonal skills including ability to establish and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally.
Administrative, organizational and time management skills.
Above average written and verbal communication skills
